Outreach Program
R.O.C.K. goes out into the community multiple times per week – including Chatham, Wallaceburg, Blenheim and Ridgetown – to connect with those experiencing homelessness or insecure housing.
We currently serve up to 500 unique individuals each week.
We bring
Lunches
Harm Reduction
Hygiene
First Aid
Commitment
Our purpose is to engage with these individuals, build relationships, and walk with them in their individual journeys.
Our organization is based on a person-centred approach, appreciating that each individual has a unique set of circumstances and needs, and we will meet every one where they are at.
We try to act as a bridge, connecting them with the services in our community.
We have partnered with many organizations to try and accomplish this, such as:
Chatham-Kent Employment and Social Services
Canadian Mental Health Association
United Way of Chatham-Kent
Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres
Salvation Army
Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre
Chatham-Kent Victim’s Services
Family Service Kent
Chatham-Kent Public Health
